Cambridge American Cemetery will participate in Open Cambridge 2026 with its program, Stories of the Americans in Britain During World War II. This series of guided tours explores the lives, service, and sacrifices of the U.S. men and women who came to Britain to fight for freedom far from home and are now buried or memorialized at the cemetery.

Through personal stories shared among the headstones and memorials, visitors will gain a deeper understanding of the human experiences behind the war and the enduring legacy of those who served.

Tours will be offered on Saturday, September 20, at no cost. Advance registration is required. Register using this link. Participation is limited to 20 people per tour.
